Unplanned pregnancy? You are not alone. Join an Embrace Grace Group! Make new friends and be inspired and hope filled through an awesome support system! You will also receive a baby shower at the end of the group to honor you and your baby. The group will meet on Thursday evenings beginning February 7. Childcare is available during the group. The Greatest Weekend Ever! | 2019

4th and 5th Graders this is a retreat just for you! We will have a live band for worship, we will play some epic games, we will go to AirU together, and on Saturday we will do a service project! This is a weekend all about choosing what you are for! Are you in?! Parents: note this is a two-day event, but it is ONLY an overnight retreat for Dalhart kids. Amarillo/Canyon students will be picked up on Friday night at 10:30 p.m. and we will start again on Saturday morning.

Parenting On Purpose

Parenting on Purpose with Reggie Joiner is a special session for all parents. Whether you are parenting an infant or a 17 year old it is never too early or late to start parenting on purpose. Reggie Joiner is an expert on how families can build faith together and he has amazing wisdom about how you can be more intentional with your children at every stage. Reggie is founder and CEO of Orange (Orange produces all of our Kids and Students curriculum). He has also co-written three parenting books, Don't Miss It, Playing for Keeps, and Parenting Beyond Your Capacity. Childcare for kids ages birth – 3rd grade is available during the session.

Bible Study Groups

WEDNESDSAY

Join us Wednesday evenings at the North Grand Campus to be a part of an Adult Bible Study Group. Beginning January 16 we will have several group options such as ROOTED, a women’s study, and a study of the book of Acts. Acts will be offered in English and in Spanish. Childcare will be provided for kids (ages birth-5th grade).

Hillside Students

6-12th grade students are invited to join us for worship, Bible study, and lots of fun! Amarillo North Grand students meet at the Amarillo South Campus on Wednesday nights. Transportation is available. The bus leaves from the North Grand Campus at 6:15 p.m.

Hillside Recovery supports people through life’s hardest seasons by offering Christ-centered ministries that encourage spiritual growth and emotional health. These ministries include Celebrate Recovery, Abortion Recovery, DivorceCare, and GriefShare. Below you will find the details for each ministry.


Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery uses biblical steps to help men and women who struggle with life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It doesn’t matter what your struggle, Celebrate Recovery can help.

Abortion Recovery

Abortion Recovery is a ministry that helps women surrender the shame of abortion to God’s healing power. Many women who have had an abortion suffer from symptoms of post-abortion grief and trauma. Don't suffer alone. This study offers a six-step biblical healing model led by women who understand.

DivorceCare
Separation and divorce are some of the most painful and stressful experiences people face. DivorceCare meets weekly to help people face these challenges and work at rebuilding their lives. Each session has a video and group discussion. You will receive a book at the first meeting.
