The Greatest Weekend Ever! | 2019

4th and 5th Graders this is a retreat just for you! We will have a live band for worship, we will play some epic games, we will go to AirU together, and on Saturday we will do a service project! This is a weekend all about choosing what you are for! Are you in?! Parents: note this is a two-day event, but it is ONLY an overnight retreat for Dalhart kids. Amarillo/Canyon students will be picked up on Friday night at 10:30 p.m. and we will start again on Saturday morning.

Parenting On Purpose

Parenting on Purpose with Reggie Joiner is a special session for all parents. Whether you are parenting an infant or a 17 year old it is never too early or late to start parenting on purpose. Reggie Joiner is an expert on how families can build faith together and he has amazing wisdom about how you can be more intentional with your children at every stage. Reggie is founder and CEO of Orange (Orange produces all of our Kids and Students curriculum). He has also co-written three parenting books, Don't Miss It, Playing for Keeps, and Parenting Beyond Your Capacity. Childcare for kids ages birth – 3rd grade is available during the session.

HillsideWomen Bible Study - "It's Not Supposed to be This Way"

Lysa TerKeurst has learned that life often looks far from the reality we long for. But she's also discovered that whether we're dealing with daily disappointments or life-altering loss, we can find unexpected strength as we wrestle well between our faith and our feelings. This study begins January 15 at 9:30 a.m. You will need to purchase the “It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way” book and Study Guide by Lysa TerKeurst ahead of time at the retailer of your choice. Registration for childcare is required by Jan 13.

HillsideWomen Bible Study - "Ruth"

Join us as we study the book of Ruth and look at unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy. We'll look at Ruth’s noble character, her unique relationship with Naomi, and her love for Boaz. The class will be led by the mother/daughter teaching team of Margie Schroeder and Mallory Rae. We will be using the study book titled “Ruth: Loss, Love & Legacy” by Kelly Minter. Hillside Recovery supports people through life’s hardest seasons by offering Christ-centered ministries that encourage spiritual growth and emotional health. Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery uses biblical steps to help men and women who struggle with life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It doesn’t matter what your struggle, Celebrate Recovery can help.

Abortion Recovery

DivorceCare
Separation and divorce are some of the most painful and stressful experiences people face. DivorceCare meets weekly to help people face these challenges and work at rebuilding their lives. Each session has a video and group discussion. You will receive a book at the first meeting.
